Alix D. Reynis grew up in a family where everyone loved to make everything themselves. After studies that promised her to a high lever career, she decided to dedicate herself to her true passion, sculpture, and created her eponymous brand in 2011. She is based in the Marias District in Paris.
Thanks to her timeless style, incomparable in its sophisticated details, Alix revisits everyday objects with finesse and elegance to effortlessly elevate any table setting.
Alix’s pieces are dishwasher microwave and oven safe.
As Thyme has grown into our ‘village within a village’ it has become much more than a place, but a way of living.
Embodying our ‘love of the land’ ethos with a focus on nature, sustainability and beauty, our handpicked and exquisitely crafted products allow our guests to engage with Thyme’s ‘way of living’ and to ‘take a little Thyme’ home with them.
With an understated elegance, the shop effortlessly combines Thyme’s own brand, Bertioli by Thyme, together with consciously sourced, artisanal products and one-off antique treasures. The result is a carefully curated collection of beautiful food, fashion, garden and homewares; with each item being led by our passion for the land, food and entertaining.
Bertioli by Thyme is Thyme’s daughter brand encompassing the product ranges that Thyme have designed and made themselves; covering an array of categories including printed silk wear, table linens and sheep seats.
Nature and botanicals sit at the heart, with environments such as woodland, garden, water meadow and hedgerow threading through collections to create a truly identifiable and authentic aesthetic.
This is expressed in unique and distinguishable prints that adorn beautiful table linens and silkwear. Hand painted by Thyme’s Founder and Creative Director, Caryn Hibbert, all of the original prints depict the flora that inhabit Thyme’s garden, farm and wild spaces and make up our ‘Patterns of Nature’.
In a bid to move away from trend-led collections, the patterns will remain for years to come buildingseasonless ‘environments’. As the brand builds with more prints in the pipeline, we hold close to our heart the words of Patricia Bertioli, Caryn’s late mother, “Nothing clashes in nature, darling!”
Caryn’s maiden namesake, Bertioli by Thyme is also a nod to her mother and father, Michael and Patricia Bertioli.
With a love of nature and its depiction in fashion’s floral prints, Caryn, Founder and Creative Director at Thyme has forever dreamed of creating her own collection. A few years ago, Caryn began to create illustrations inspired by the rich botanicals that inhabit the countryside around Thyme, with particular focus on the woodlands, the gardens and wild spaces.
Transcending seasons and trends, the pieces are designed to last and be truly versatile, moving effortlessly between day and night, from loungewear to eveningwear, from Bloody Marys to martinis.

In the Hibbert family’s kitchen, there has long been an oak counter with three weighty drawers, all brimming with table linens. Brightly coloured, heavily patterned, or plain white with beautiful embroidery – there is one for every occasion and each with an interesting provenance that sparks thought-provoking conversation around the dinnertable. This was what inspired Caryn to create her own table linens, hand painted with her ‘Patterns of Nature’.
Trans-seasonal and nature-inspired, the linens are made from sustainably grown French Linen, with an entirely European supply route from flax to loom. The designing takes place in England, before the production brings the pieces to life in Lithuania.
We have full transparency on the production process of our table linens and make every effort to reduce any adverse effects. The production is certified by OEKO-TEX® to ensure there are no harmful substances and all our fabrics are digitally printed, leaving minimal run off of dyes.
Stories, poetry, photography, recipes, illustrations - books are a constant source of inspiration, knowledge and respite from the busy world around us.
We have curated a selection of our favourites to curl up with.

Flowers, a favourite and fragrant centrepiece for any tablescape. With a mix of large glass vases and ceramic single stem, a bright, undulating floral arrangement can snake down the table on the soft, green and fresh palette of the Cobnut Tablecloth.
