Isla de Gar are a slow fashion brand, with artistry at the heart of the products they create. Founded in the summer of 2020 by award winning designer Emma Garner, the first bag was purchased in October of that year.Â
Isla de Gar embodies joy, togetherness, warmth and humanity. The pieces are sculptural, tactile, malleable works of art that wouldn’t look out of place on a gallery plinth. These attributes invite the wearer to be transported to their own idyllic place, where art is to be worn and happiness is infinite.Â
Their bags are all handmade to order in their London studio by Emma and her assistant Bella.
